Sri Jagannath Institute of Management & Technology, is a premier and dynamic Institute in Management and Technology education. It was established by the Sumani Devi Foundation for Social Upliftment, Community Developement & Social Justice, Jagatsinghpur. Over the years it has emerged as one of the premier institutes in the country imparting value based management & technological education. The Institute aims at developing a centre for excellence in management and technology education, training, research & consultancy and to create a new class of administrators in tune with the needs of today’s highly competitive global environment. It has widespread support of corporate world both at national and international level.

The ethics, values and principles of "The Vedas" have been the constant guiding light that have given directions to us. Thus developing professionals with a humane and pragmatic approach, the essence of which lies in team work, is the major aim of the Institute.

The Institute is fully air-conditioned and is located near beaches of Bay of Bengal, keeping Paradeep port in the vicinity. Recently it has acquired 30 acres of land in POSCO CITY where the South Korean Steel Giant is developing its world's largest steel manufacturing plant along with Asia's largest Refinary "Paradeep Refinary", Paradeep Phosphates Limited and Oswal Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited. It has attracted students in its management programmes from 12 countries including USA, U.K. & France.
